The Property
Designed by New York City architect Kimberly Peck, this bed and breakfast is more than just a place to stay—it’s a thoughtfully created mountainside retreat. Inspired by Kimberly’s own desire to escape the city, the property was envisioned as a peaceful refuge for guests to reconnect with nature and enjoy exceptional design in a tranquil setting.
The home seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with sustainable features. Built as a net-zero energy home, it runs entirely on solar power, demonstrating that luxury and sustainability can coexist. From the triple-pane windows to airtight construction and robust insulation, every detail enhances comfort while minimizing environmental impact.
The home’s design harmonizes with its natural surroundings. Deep roof overhangs provide shade in summer, while winter sunlight warms the concrete floors, reducing the need for additional heating.
Guests are invited to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, stunning mountain views, and the knowledge that their stay leaves a minimal environmental footprint. It’s an ideal getaway for those looking for an eco-conscious escape, offering both comfort and a connection to nature.
Whether you’re enjoying the modern, carefully designed spaces or exploring the nearby Catskill Mountains, this bed and breakfast offers a unique blend of natural beauty, sustainability, and thoughtful design.
The Suites
Featuring three beautifully designed minimalist suites, this retreat offers a seamless blend of simplicity and natural beauty. Expansive windows showcase stunning views of the Catskill Mountains, bringing the outdoors into the clean, modern interiors. The polished concrete floors lend a sleek, industrial feel, softened by warm cedar accents in the door surrounds and wall cladding. Black reveals replace traditional trim, creating crisp, refined transitions throughout.
Each suite is furnished with a king-size bed, nightstands, a spacious seating area, and a large flatscreen TV, providing a perfect balance of comfort and style. The spa-like bathrooms are designed for relaxation, featuring sculptural sinks, Turkish cotton towels, and eco-friendly Public Goods bath products.
Touches like Moroccan rugs, Belgian linen bed covers, and a collection of books and games add a cozy, welcoming feel, allowing guests to enjoy a retreat that combines modern design with warm, natural charm.
